Moscow Municipal Duma discussed the accidents of dogs’ aggression in Moscow. Almost all people who were attacked and bitten by a dog can get the satisfaction from the dog’s owner. But the fines were so small that the victims did not go to the law. Now the fines will increase by a factor of five for the ordinary dogs’ owners and even more for the organizations keeping dogs.
The owner of a dog now pays about 2500 rubles (80 dollars) if the dog bites a person. The organization pays 5-30 thousand rubles (150-1000 dollars) in the same case. The prices for the animals' transportation, vaccination and registration will also increase.
