The Georgian lieutenant asked Russia for a political asylum
Georgian-Abkhazian broad

On 18-th of June the lieutenant of the Georgia broader police Alik Bjania crossed the Georgian-Abkhazian broad and asked Russia for a political asylum. He made a statement over the Russian radio Echo of Moscow (Ekho Moskvy). He said that he is against Saakashvili politics and the Georgia aggression to South Ossetia and Abkhazia.
      Alik Bjania said that he had crossed the broad on the 23-rd of May and stayed in Abkhazia until he was caught by Russian frontier guard. The Georgian Military Ministry stated that lieutenant-deserter Bjania was discharged before his escape to Russia.
