Serbia asked Russia for half billion dollar credit

On the 24 of June Serbian ambassador asked Russian government for a 560 million dollar credit. Yesterday the Vice Prime Minister of Serbia arrived to Moscow for the talks. The money are planned to be spent on the budgetary recharge and Belgrades metro construction.
Earlier Serbia and the International Monetary Fund had upon 3 billion euro credit, so the country got the first tranche in early May.
The result of the Russian Serbian talks about the credit might be negative, because of the crisis. Only two non-CIS countries asked Russia for a credit before Iceland and Cuba. Russia agreed to grant Cuba the credit and talks with Iceland are far from the conclusion.
