Poland accuses Russian television of historical data falsification

The official protest letter was sent by the Poland embassy to the Russian Foreign Ministry. The letter was caused by the official TV program Vesti ( Russia channel ) about the Second Word War. The main protest of the Poland legates was caused by the statement that Poland was one of the initiators of the Second World War and suggested that Japan should launch a war on USSR in 1939. The Poland embassy called this statement the historical data falsification and noticed that such statements do not help the relations between Russia and Poland.
Russian Foreign Ministry representative said that he is surprised by the letter and thinks that such TV programs are not the reasons of the governments discussions. He also added that Russian governments never pay attention to similar provocations from Poland mass media.
