Last Daughter of Fyodor Shalyapin Dies Leaving Authentic Will of Her Father

Marina Shalyapina, a daughter of the great Russian singer Fyodor Shalyapin has died today in Rome, aged 97.
      Marina Fyodorovna Shalyapina-Freddy was the last of ten children of the world famous Russian opera singer Fyodor Shalyapin. The family left Russia in 1922. The singer himself died in Paris in 1938.
      The press-service of the Glinka State Central Museum of Music Culture informed that Marina Shalyapina died at 7 am local time. A month ago she received representatives of the Glinka Museum at her home and handed them the authentic will of her father. The will is now being deciphered.
