The defenders of Khimkis forest applied to European court for the protection

The active group of Khimki citizens applied to European court for the protection of their rights. The cutting out of the forest started when the building of a new free-paying highway from Moscow to St. Petersburg began.
The defenders say that their rights were disturbed. According to the Constitution of the RF, each person has a right for healthy environment. And the new road building is harmful for Khimki citizens. The building is going on with various contraventions and the ecological expertise was also falsified. But Russian head did not pay attention on the request and the defenders applied to European court for the protection.
