Domodedovo Passengers to See Masterpieces of Tretyakov Gallery

The Tretyakov Gallery is going to hold three unusual exhibitions of Russian fine art in the Domodedovo Airport, Moscow. These will be displays of paintings on special 3-dimensional screens.
We are not trying to substitute original paintings with their images. Our task is to evoke interest in people so that they will want to look at the originals the director of the Tretyakov Gallery Irina Lebedeva said at a press-conference in Moscow. According to her, three exhibitions are planned, dedicated to masterpieces of Russian avant-garde, paintings by Illarionov and Goncharova, and Sergey Dyaghilevs works.
Every exposition will consist of 24 paintings. Their reproductions will be broadcast on 16 screens in the airport. The first exhibition will be launched on the 7th of September.
