Tele2 cheap services beat Russian cell-phone operators

Tele2, the pan-European telecommunication operator, treads upon heals of the Russian Big Three, the leading mobile operators in the country including MTS, Beeline and MegaFon. Services offered by Tele2 turned out to be cheapest in Russia, reports the Vedomosi Newspaper with a reference to the study conducted by Comnews Research.
      Tele2 is the undisputed leader in the segment of cheap cellular communication, but only the regions where the company is presented (20 federal subjects of Russia). As for the rest of the country, MTS services are recognized to be the cheapest.
      Tele2's aim is to provide easy-to-use communication services with good quality for the most affordable prices in the region. Not wasting amounts on advertising the company saves money, which allows it to offer several cheap price plans for local customers.
      While conduction the study Comnews Research divided all price plans promoted by the Russian mobile operators into three groups: for prudent subscribers, for average consumers and for subscribers of high-level consumption.
      According to the research, MTS's services admitted to be the cheapest in all price groups. It is followed by Beeline, while MegaFon goes third.
      Tele2's services are represented in 22 countries of Europe and CIS. The core markets of the company are Sweden, Norway, Russia, Croatia and the Baltic states. The company came to Russia in 2003 and now can boast over 10.4 million subscribes.
