First Russian meteorological satellite of the new generation will be launched tomorrow, on Tuesday 15, 2009, from the Baikonur launching site, RosCosmos reports.
The carrier will deliver the satellite to the orbit together with 5 more small space vehicles. These vehicles are Earth remote sensing devices, which have the most complex structure to the moment.
The satellite "Meteor-M", developed within the Federal space programme of Russian Federation, provides images of clouds, earth surface and ice cover in visible light and infrared spectrum range.
