Two ships arrested in the Sea of Okhotsk for a poach

Two harvesting vessels, engaged in the illegal harvesting of the crab were arrested in the Sea of Okhotsk (North Pacific), reports the press relation office of the North-East department of the coastal guards.
      Two unidentified harvesting vessels were detected in the southern part of the sea of Okhotsk by the patrol boat using the deck-pad helicopter KA 27 on the September, 15.
      In consequence of the check-out actions, the first one was identified as harvesting vessel Viktoria (home port Nevelsk, Sakhalin Region). According to preliminary data, the boat is being leased by one Japanese fishing company. The crew consists of the Russian citizens. The cargo of the live crab (Chionoecetes opilio) was detected in the hold of the vessel and few tons of the frozen fish which is used like bait. The master of a ship could not provide the papers, licensing harvesting.
      The second vessel, Keseki Maru, is a Cambodia-flag one, the crew consists of the citizens of Russia, Moldova and South Korea. 9 tons live crab was on board, but no documents.
      All the crabs were counted and set free. The vessels escorted to the port of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky for a trial.
