Sports car Marussia, designed by Russian engineers, will be assembled in the countries of Eastern Europe. It is also reported that three plant will be built to produce 3 000 Marussia cars per year. The ideologists of the project note it is much cheaper to produce cars beyond Russia. Besides, in this case, it is easier to deliver cars to the customers based in other countries.
Next year the engineers plan to extend the model line of Marussia cars by adding to crossovers and a luxury sedan. In the short run the first Russian super car will take part in the Le Mans 24-Hour Race.
The first automobile Marussia is equipped with a 3.5 litre petrol engine providing 240bhp. A racing version of the car, which is being developed now, would be engineered with respect to contemporary auto racing technologies.
At the moment, there are 17 cash orders for Marussia sports car.
