Two Russian tourists are missing after the snow avalanche in the mountains of the Szechuan province, China. The incident took place near the hotel and tourist complex of Chanpingou on the mountain of Sygunyan.
The tourists, a woman and three men went there on the October, 20. An avalanche took place there few days ago, and only two tourists managed to get out. They connected with the rescuers, and a team was sent to the region. The chances to detect the two missing tourists are not good, because of the snow fall and the permanent danger of the avalanches. It is simply dangerous to stay there.
The head consular department of the Russian Embassy in Beijing said that the searches can give results only in January, when the weather in the region stabilizes.
The tourists, who are under the avalanche, are the inhabitants of Blagoveshchensk Igor Sherstnev and Anfisa Krashenina. The tourists who have escaped are Andrey Mikhalchenko and Sergey Lyagin. They are well and going to fly back to Russia from the city of Chansha.
