The high-speed Sapsan train which was being tested during 7 months by the Russian and German specialists makes its first routine tour today. The train is found absolutely safe. Its main distinction from the forerunners is the speed. Sapsans high speed amounts to 300 km/h, but it will be exploited with lower one, 250 km/h. It is enough to cover the distance between the Russian capitals in 3 hours 45 minutes.
      
      The service, comparable with the flight on the plane in the price (the cheapest ticket costs 2, 400 rubles) and time (by plane it takes you 1, 5 hour in the air and some time for transfer to and from the airports, but the railway stations in both cities are in the centre) turned out to be extremely popular. 602 places from 604 provided in the train were bought the day before.
