Anapa, a resort city standing on the Black Sea coast, was recognized Russia's best city in terms of population health and safety. Initially, Anapa was called the safest city of the South Federal Region of Russia, but then beat 20 000 contestant cities from all over Russia.
Anapa is known for numerous sanatoriums for children, since climate and wonderful sandy beaches allow taking sea baths to two-year-old children.
