Moscow turned into a snow drift

Moscow turned into a snow drift

The record of 1977 can be beaten this year. It is a record in snowing. And this record would be beaten if 10 more millimeters snow fall. The snowfall begun last week and it is still snowing. The traffic on the streets is very slow; the public utilities are practicing the torment of Tantalus while the Muscovites are practicing patience.
It is something special even for Moscow. It is snowing for already fourth day. The cars left in the streets and in the yards, have turned into the snow drifts, because in some cases it is easier (and faster) to walk.
The public utilities are working day and night, and the result disappears in half an hour. It's another matter that if they would not, everything looked much stranger, for example, the roads could not distinguish from the snowdrifts.
Such a snowy weather is awful for driving but wonderful for skiing and sitting at home. Try our new service, short-term apartment accommodation in Moscow.
