Veronica Basharatyan was born in Moscow on November 20, 1985, in a noble Armenian-Balkarian family. Surname Basharatyan has deep roots and in translation from ancient Farsi means "happy messenger".
After graduating from the Faculty of Economics of Moscow State University and studying psychology, her other passion, Veronica Basharatyan decided to move to London at the age of 20 to continue her education in the fashion industry. She graduated from the prestigious Central Saint Martins College of Art  and later practiced at the London College of Fashion, specializing in "working with fabrics and applying prints to fabrics." Then she received a second higher education in the famous Istituto Marangoni  in Milan to study the global picture of the modern fashion world, working in parallel as the designer of the women's clothing line Ralph Lauren Polo in London.
In July 2010, designer Veronika Basharatyan founded the brand BASHARATYAN V.
Over recent years, Veronika Basharatyan has created several capsule collections, which have been successfully accepted by the public. 
Veronica Basharatyan won many awards, including the victory at the Young Designers' Competition in Sochi, where she defended 150 competitors.
The BASHARATYAN V brand buyers appreciate the conceptual creativity, technical innovations, unique fabrics and outstanding original embroidery and prints created with the help of a computer.
BASHARATYAN V collections are sold mainly in the London boutique at 123 Bethnal Green, and are also available in showrooms in London and Moscow.
