Since the Internet was invented, computers all over the world have been in danger of getting a fresh virus able to destroy your operating system. Luckily, there are people developing antivirus programs and Evgeny Kaspersky is one of them.

Evgeny Valentinovich Kaspersky was born 4 October 1964 in the Russian city of Novorossiysk standing on the Black Sea. As a student he faced a computer virus phenomenon, when found Cascade virus on his PC. After graduation from the University of cryptography, informatics and communications in 1991 he worked at a research and development centre, where with the help of his colleagues he developed a new antivirus package (Kaspersky anti-virus). In 1997, Evgeny Kaspersky became one of the founders of Kaspersky Lab.

Evgeny Kaspersky is one of the world leading antivirus experts working in the field of information security for 15 years. He has written a lot of articles and surveys observing computer virology. Evgeny is a member of Computer Anti-virus Research Organization (CARO) uniting outstanding computer experts.
