Oleg Divov was born into the family of hereditary restorers of the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow. A professional men of letters, he has been published as a journalist since the age of 14. From 1990 he worked as a copywriter in the largest advertizing agencies of Russia.
In 1995 Oleg Divov quitted work for the fifth time and indulged in writing books. His first book was published in 1997. The sci fi thriller Dog Master is dedicated to his dog.
Since then the writer has got 9 volumes published. These include the novels, such as Trail of the Zombie trilogy (The Dog Master, Steel Heart, and Brothers in Reason), The Young and the Strong will Survive, The Best Crew of the Solar System, The Culling, Night Watcher, and Brave.
The author of 8 novels, several stories and short stories in the genre of science fiction with elements of apocalyptic thriller, Oleg Divov is one of the most popular sc-fi writers and the winner of nearly all professional awards, from the prestigious Wanderer to exotic prizes such as the Honor Certificate of the Kharkov University of Internal Affairs.
Oleg Divov is a member of the editorial board of the Esli (If) magazine and jury of Kir Bulychev Memorial Award. He is a member of the Writers’ Union of Russia and the Sci-Fi and Adventure Literature Council at the Writers’ Union.
