Russian Soviet painter, graphic artist, and printmaker


Elizaveta Sergeyevna Kruglikova was born in St. Petersburg on January 31, 1865.

Her parents were Sergey Nikolaevich Kruglikov (1832 — 1910) and Olga Yulyevna Neumann (1836 — 1922). Elizaveta Sergeyevna's grandfather, Nikolay Aleksandrovich Kruglikov (1788 — 1868), was a famous drawing artist.

From 1890 to 1895 Elizaveta Kruglikova attended the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. 
From 1895 to 1914 she lived in Paris, where she studied in the art studios of A. Vitti and F. Kolarossi. Elizaveta Kruglikova taught etching in La Pallette Academy from 1909 till 1914 and was the teacher of graphic art in the Arts Academy in Leningrad from 1922 till 1929.
Elizaveta Kruglikova died in Leningrad in 1941 and was laid to rest at the Volkovsky Cemetery in St. Petersburg.
