Soviet and Russian film and stage actress and director, Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1989), People's Artist of Russia (2001)

      

Tatiana Dogileva was born into the family of workers in the Novo-Mikhailovsky Village of Ruza District, Moscow Region on February 27, 1957.
She studied at school under the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences, and was admitted to the Junior actor Studio at the Central Television at the age of 14. Tatiana entered the State Institute of Theatrical Arts (GITIS) in 1974 and graduated in 1978.
Tatiana Dogileva was an actress of the Moscow Theater of the Lenin Komsomol from 1978 to 1985 and played at the Yermolova Theatre from 1985.
In 1998 she made her debut as a stage director with Moonlight, Honeymoon.
Having played over 100 film roles since 1971, Tatiana Dogileva is mostly famous as a film actress. Her first movie roles were small and sporadic, though. She made her appearance in the classics of Russian cinema, such as One in a Million, Pokrovsky Gates, Private Lives, and many others.
After the film Blonde Around the Corner, where she played the lead  with Andrei Mironov as her partner, Tatiana Dogileva gained real popularity. Saleswoman Nadezhda became one of the actress' most brilliant roles. The role of nurse Lida in the film Forgotten Melody for Flute by director Eldar Ryazanov added a lot to her glory and success.
The actress tried her wings at film directing as well. She directed a few movies and TV shows.
a few years ago Tatiana Dogileva had her first book published. In the novel The Life and Adventures of Amy Khokhriakova she described the life of Russian provinces, as well as moral degradation of rich metropolitan residents. In 2014 her second book - Then, Now and Serge the Cat - written in the style of a known actress' diary saw the light.
Tatiana Dogileva lives near Patriarch's Ponds in Mosow.
Recognition and Awards
  - the title of Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1989)
  - the Best Actress Prize (in the film Afghan Breakdown) at the Kinotavr film festival (1992)
  - the title of People's Artist of the Russian Federation (2000) - for her great tribute in the field of art
  - the Best Film Director Debut Prize at the Golden Phoenix film festival for her film Lera (2007)
