Djemal Makhmudov
Russian designer Djemal Makhmudov will start working in the US, where he will dress Hollywood stars. He is invited to create costumes for the new film. Details are not disclosed yet, but it is known that the production of the picture is scheduled to January 2018. Jemal will get acquainted with the features and will get experience at the most famous site of the world film industry. The silhouette comes into play due to flying frills, flowing silk, soft lace, translucent slender cotton and designs in the form of a flower calla, taken as a basis for the development of the collection. The designer painted more than 100 flower sketches before he found the perfect shape.
Sets of elongated shirts and narrowed trousers made of translucent cotton with silk are created in Indian style, which is present in many designer collections on the world's catwalks. The ethnic theme in prints of a fabric from which sets of skirts and tops are executed is interesting and unusual. Strict forms of shoulders, cutting graphics and voluminous designs are emphasized by sandals with wide straps.
Djemal Makhmudov is a young promising designer who, at the beginning of his career, managed to work with Valentin Yudashkin and Mariella Burani (Milan Fashion House). After school, the ambitious Djemal immediately went from his native Tbilisi to Moscow, where he entered the Textile University. After graduation, Djemal creates his own brand of clothing - MD (the name-abbreviation means the initials of his name).
