Natalia Osipova is considered to be one of the best ballerinas in the world. Having taken the ballet stage, she was a soaring success in a clap.

Since the age of five she was engaged in gymnastics, but got had to stop it after a spinal injury in 1993. The sport coaches recommended the girl to try her wings at ballet. Natalia Osipova studied at the Moscow State Choreography Academy. Upon graduation in 2004 she joined the ballet troupe of the Bolshoi Theater and made her stage debut on September 24, 2004. She became the leading soloist of the Bolshoi Theater in October, 2008 and its prima ballerina in May, 2010. The young prima rehearsed there under the guidance of the People's Artist of the USSR, Marina Kondratieva.

Natalia Osipova immediately attracted the attention of Moscow public. All Moscow ballet lovers spoke of her brilliant flight-like jumps. She won the audience with her impeccable technique of performance as well as fantastic lyricism.

In 2007, touring with the Bolshoi Theater in London, the ballerina was warmly received by the British public at the Covent Garden Theater. Moreover, she won the British Critics' Circle National Dance Award as the best classical ballet dancer.

In 2009, upon the recommendation of Nina Ananiashvili, she became a guest ballerina of the American Ballet Theater and performed the title roles of Giselle and Sylphide on the stage of the New York Metropolitan Opera. In 2010, Natalia Osipova again took part in the performances of American Ballet Theater. Those were the parties of Kitri in Don Quixote, Juliet in Romeo and Juliet by Prokofiev (choreography by K. McMillan), and Aurora in the Sleeping Beauty by Tchaikovsky (staged by K McKenzie, partner David Holberg) on the stage of the Metropolitan Opera.

In 2010, she debuted at the Grand Opera (Clara in The Nutcracker, The Ballerina in Petrushka) La Scala (Kitri in Don Quixote), and the London Royal Opera (Medora in The Corsair).

In 2011 American Ballet Theater performed the part of Katarina in the ballet "The Taming of the Shrew" set to the music of D. Scarlatti (choreography by J. Crenco) with the ballet of the Bavarian State Opera. Twice she took part in the Mariinsky International Ballet Festival with the part of Kitri in Don Quixote and Giselle in the same-name ballet.

In December, 2011 Natalia Osipova became the prima ballerina of the Mikhailovsky Theater.

From December, 2012 she was an invited soloist of the Royal London Ballet, having performed The Swan Lake three times with Carlos Acosta as her partner. In the same October, she participated in a gala concert in honor of the diamond anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II.

Currently, she is the prima ballerina of the American Ballet Theater.

In April 2013, Natalia Osipova signed a permanent contract with the London Royal Ballet.
