The Cumulative Wealth of Russian Billionaires Fell by 74 Million Dollars

 The cumulative wealth of Russian billionaires fell by 74 million dollars for the first half of 2017.

According to the ranking, the richest citizen of Russia is the major shareholder of “Severstal” Aleksei Mordashov, during the six months he has lost 1.11 billion dollars, his total wealth amounts to 15.8 billion. His ranking place is 58.

Mordashov is followed by the Head of “Novatec” Leonid Mikhelson whose wealth decreased by 1.5 billion dollars – down to 15.8 billion. The President of “Norilsk Nickel” Vladimir Potanin lost $1.08 billion during six months, he took the 62nd line with the current total wealth of 15.5 billion. The Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Renova” Group of Companies Viktor Vekselberg became richer by 1 billion dollars from the beginning of 2017, Bloomberg estimates his fortune at 15.2 billion.

The owner of the “Novolipetsk Metallurgical Plant” (NMP) Vladimir Lisin owns 14.1 billion dollars, the growth of his capital amounted to 1.03 billion during the six months. The capital of the Co-owner of “Alfa Group” Mikhail Fridman has increased by 857 million dollars - up to 14.1 billion. The Founder of USM Holdings Alisher Usmanov took the 81st line in the ranking with the fortune of 14 billion, it grew by 1.05 billion dollars during the six months.
