Segezha is a Russian town, the administrative center of the Segezha District of the Republic of Karelia.

The town is located on the northwest coast of Lake Vygozero at the confluence of River Segezha into it, 267 km away from Petrozavodsk and 770 km away from St. Petersburg.

Segezha has the population of 28 117 people.

It has the railway station Segezha of the Oktyabrskaya Railroad and the Segezha bus station connecting with Petrozavodsk, Kostomuksha, Pertozero, Vacha, Polga, and Nadvoitsy).

The rock music festival Rybka has been held annually in Segezha since 1997. Local music bands, guests from Petrozavodsk, Kostomuksha, Kondopoga, Arkhangelsk, Murmansk, Moscow, St. Petersburg and even from Ukraine and Belarus participate in the festival.
