Klin is a town in the Moscow Region, an administrative centre of Klin District.

Highway Moscow — St. Petersburg runs through the town.

Within the town there is the military airdrome Klin-5 that admits aircrafts of almost all categories.

The city population is around 80 thousand persons as of 2010.

• P.I.Tchaikovsky State House Museum with a concert hall and an archive in it

• Dmitry Mendeleev Memorial Estate

• Uspensky Cathedral (the 16th century, used to be a monastery).

• Church of the Icon of the Mother of God "Consolation of All Who Sorrow"

• Trinity Cathedral (is under restoration now)

• Museum of Local Lore

• Post Yard (19th century)

• Trading quarters

• House of the town governor (19th century, architect S.A.Karin)

• Voskresensky Church (1712) with a steepled bell tower

• destroyed Taneev’s Manor in Demyanovo

• Expocentre «Farmstead Klinñêîå» with a Museum of Fur Tree Toys.
