Sosnovy Bor is a Russian town (since 1973) in the Leningrad Region.

It stands on the shore of the Koporskaya Bay of the Gulf of Finland, on the Kovashi River, 81 km to the west of St. Petersburg.

It is Kalishche railroad station on the St. Petersburg - Weimar line.

The town with the overall area of 72 sq. km has the population of 66.967 people (as of 2013).

It was founded in 1958 as an industrial township.

The town boasts a museum of modern art.
