Bolshoi Kamen is a city, the center of the Bolshoi Kamen city district in the Primorsky Territory of Russia. It is located in the south of Primorsky Territory, 20 km to the east of Vladivostok on the opposite shore of the Ussuri Bay of the Sea of Japan.
The Bolshoi Kamen Bay, on the shore of which the central part of the city is located, is a convenient seaport. The bay with the depth of up to 12 meters and the coastline extent of 3 kilometers is well protected from winds of any direction.
The city has the same name railway station.
It is the seventh largest city of Primorsky Territory in terms of its population, which makes 39 126 people (as of 2014).
The city has Russia’s only enterprise in the Far East specializing in repair, re-equipment and modernization of ships with the nuclear power stations Zvezda. Besides, it has Russia’s largest shipyard Zvezda-DSME, which is capable of profucijg vessels with the deadweight of up to 300 thousand tons.

Bolshoi Kamen has a museum exhibition complex of the National History Museum in the Southern Liflyandiya and the National Museum of Fighting and Labor Glory, as well as an exhibition hall in Bolshoi Kamen and the Leisure Center in Petrovka village.
There are two recreation centers in Bolshoi Kamen: the City Community Center and the Civic Centre of Zvezda Factory.
