Torbeyevo is an urban township (from 1959), the administrative center (from 1928) of the Torbeyevo District in the Republic of Mordovia.

It has the population of 9145 people (as of 2014).

The Torbeyevo administration includes the villages Zhukulug (206 people) and Mazilug (225 people), which are now streets of Torbeyevo. It stands on River Vindrey, 168 km away from the city of Saransk.

The highway Saransk — Moscow and the railway line Ruzayevka-Ryazan-Moscow runs through Torbeyevo.
