Romodanovo

Romodanovo is an urban township, the administrative center of the Romodanovo District of Mordovia Republic.

It has the population of 9163 (as of 2014), with most of them being Russian.

Romodanovo stands on River Insar, 30 km away from Saransk. It is connected to Saransk with a highway. The first documentary record of Romodanovo dates back to 1622.
