Lukhovka is an urban township in Mordovia, in the urban district of Saransk. It is the center of the settlement administration, which also includes the villages of Kulikovka and Makarovka.
Its population makes 8321 people (as of 2014).
The township extends from the northwest to the southeast, between the Tavla River (Lukhovka stands on its left bank) and the highway Saransk — Kochkurovo. Makarovka is located to the north of the settlement and Kulikovka is to the south. The main street of Lukhovka adjoins Volgogradskaya Street of Saransk neare the Posop railway platform.
Lukhovka got the status of the urban township in 1969.
