Belarus Helps the Victims Of Flood In Priamurye
March 10, 2014 18:24

Belarusian builders are ready to construct residential houses for the victims of a severe flood in Amur oblast, as the Deputy Chairman of the Government of Priamurye Vladislav Bakumenko told to the reporters. “The builders (from Belarus) have already arrived in the region, now we are working with the documentation, determining the price and choosing the construction site” - Bakumenko said during the meeting of the regional government. He explained that the representatives of Belarus are ready to “take the officers of the Federal Service for Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare to the factory so that they could check the quality of future constructions”.
“We are referring to 65 houses. These are wooden houses made of natural Belarusian wood, they will only be installed here (in Amur oblast). Installation of such a house from the beginning to the roof will take five days” - the head of the Belarusian delegation, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic Leonid Zayats said. He noted that “there are occasional frosts and 35 and 40 degrees in Belarus too”, that is, the houses will most probably suit the climatic conditions of Amur oblast.

In total, Belarusians offer three projects of houses: for 42, 60 and 90 sq. m. Earlier the governor of Amur oblast Oleg Kozhemyako reported that large-scale construction of houses for flood victims will begin in the region on March 12. By this time they will have to complete all the preparatory works in the region – land marking, subdivision of plots, issuing building permits.

All projects of future houses must necessarily be conformed to the victims. 120 apartments have already been purchased in the secondary market for the victims of the flood in Amur oblast. According to the Ministry of Construction and Architecture of the region, 104 municipal and 106 private houses have to be built in the region until September 30. Priamurye has already received 348 million roubles from the federal budget for the construction and repair of the houses affected by the disaster.
