Moscow: Swimming Allowed

 The Administration of the Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing has commissioned eight recreation areas where swimming is allowed.

The territory of the city has 11 recreation areas with permitted swimming, two of them (Meshcherskoe in the Western administrative district and Levoberezhny Beach in the Northern administrative district) are under reconstruction, one recreation area - Bolshoy Sadovy Pond in the Northern District is supervised by the Federal Medical Biological Agency.

There are also 48 recreation areas without swimming in Moscow, nine of them are under reconstruction. The Administration of the Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing has already commissioned all eight recreation areas with permitted swimming: Serebryany Bor-2, Serebryany Bor-3, Troparevo, “Beach Club” beach complex, Bolshoy City Pond, Chernoe Lake, Shkolnoe Lake, Beloe Lake.

In addition, 33 recreation areas without swimming permission have also been commissioned.
