General Atlantic, der ejer 23% af den danske investeringsbank, Saxo Bank, har kbt 20% af russiske Kaspersky Lab, der udvikler anti-virus systemer. I flge den russiske avis Kommersant har General Atlantic betalt mellem $150-200 mio. for aktieposten. I juni 2005 kbte General Atlantic en aktiepost i Saxo Bank for $127 mio., og kapitalfonden nsker derfor med stor sandsynlighed at slge sin andel p 23% i Saxo Bank indenfor det nste r, da General Atlantic som regel altid kun har en investeringshorisont p fem r. Saxo Bank har vret en god investering for General Atlantic, og er i flge flere kilder i dag vurderet til mellem kr. 10 og 14 mia.
