American institute of science and international security has confirmed the opinion of French Agency for Nuclear safety, which gave emergency case at Fukusima 1 nuclear plant 6 points from the 7 possible according to international 7 points scale. The experts say that explosions and fires at the plant followed the emergency have made matters worse and moved the situation closer to the 6th level of danger. They concede the situation can reach the 7th level, like it was in Chernobyl, when a radioactive substance was lifter with the smoke of fires on the 10 km altitude and then spread all the northern hemisphere. The processes going on in the power units now are impossible to stop immediately, so it is not the end. And in this case nobody will remember Chernobyl: either because Fukusima leaves it behind, or because there won't be nobody to remember anything.

Such silence of Japan government can prevent panic but cannot do anything with hadiation hazard.  

Meanwhile, the earthquakes, so-called aftershocks are going on, and a 6,2 magnitude earthquake happened today in the eastern part of Japan. According to the pessimistic scenery, aftershocks will go on for a month. They are strong enough to make serious damage, and epicenter is situated not far from Fukushima. Japan has to flight against acute disasters thinking about preventing the coming ones.
It is already obvious that everything happening in Japan will have serious consequences for the world. At least the nuclear safety policy is to be revised. Maximum the world won't be able to recognize itself in a pair of months...
