Head of the intensive care unit at a cardio-surgery center in Perm was caught on CCTV battering a middle-aged patient recovering from a heart surgery.

The doctor, Andrey Votyakov, blamed the 36-hour shift and the 'nasty words' uttered by the heart patient for the outburst of anger.

He was fired and the police are now looking into the incident because the man later died.

Two policemen were fired after a video of them celebrating Defender of the Fatherland Day was posted online.

In the video, they are singing the anthem of the USSR, but are apparently too drunk.

The third policemen featuring in the clip is said to have been fired back in 2011.
