Today, on November 10, Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs celebrates its professional holiday, which is often simply called "The Police Day". This year the Russian police officers have prepared some amazing viral videos, one of them has already gained over 900,000 views on YouTube. We are happy to offer you a musical set of the most awesome videos from Russian army and police. Enjoy!
The first video in our holiday selection is only 3 days old, but it has already gained almost 900,000 views on YouTube and counting! A departmental choir of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs perfoms a big hit "Get Lucky" by a French house music duo "Duft Punk". Many Russians are shoked, the viewers from other countries are fascinated. American Entertainment Weekly newpaper called this perfomance the most amazing cover of the year. For all its awesomeness, the clip is actually just the chorus' repetition for the traditional annual concert dedicated to the holiday. We promise to show you the concert version soon!
The second video is also very fresh - it was uploaded only yesterday. Russian police officers have taken part in a special holiday flashmob. Dressed like common people, they suddenly start to sing a Russian police' unofficial hymn at one of Moscow subway stations. Reaction of passengers around is priceless!
Another video is from the Russian army. Marching soldiers sing "Bad Romance", Lady Gaga's popular song.
Some Russian soldiers are also very good dancers. Let's see a hardcore military dance with some great moves.
And back to military choirs. Russian Army Choir shows a really great perfomance of James Bond Skyfall theme at a morning TV-show. Over 1,800,000 million views!
And another great perfomance and a funny music video from the same choir is "Show Must Go On" song, originally performed by Queen. The choir's members also explain some aspects of their musical activity in the video. English subtitles are included.
