Russia - China Trade Turnover Grows

The trade turnover between Russia and China rose by 29.3 percent, up to 18.1 billion dollars, in the first quarter of 2017. This was reported by TASS with reference to the report of the General Customs Administration of China.

The volume of goods deliveries from China to Russia increased by 22.4 percent and amounted to 8.4 billion dollars. The imports of Russian products to China rose by 36.1 percent, up to 9.7 billion.

The total volume of foreign trade of China increased by 15 percent and reached nearly 900 billion dollars in the first quarter. On April 11 the RF President Vladimir Putin stated that the trade turnover between Russia and Italy had decreased 2.5 times over the past years.

According to the data of the Federal Customs Service, Russia has increased imports from the non-CIS countries by 26.1 percent in January-February 2017, as compared to the same period of last year.
