Skolkovo Will Hold XXII Annual ASPA Conference 2017

The Board of Directors of ASPA (Association of Science Parks of Asia) supported the application of the “Skolkovo” Foundation for holding XXII annual ASPA conference in Russia in 2018.

The venue of the conference has been chosen the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) on Russky Island (Vladivostok). “The victory of the “Skolkovo” Foundation in the contest for the right to host the next conference of science parks in Asia in 2018 is absolutely logical. “Skolkovo” has just held VI Open Innovation Forum in a perfect way; the event has gathered more than 18 thousand participants from 98 countries. We once again proved that we are able to conduct international events at the highest level” - Aleksandr Chernov, the Senior Vice President of the “Skolkovo” Foundation for External Communications and Advertising, noted.

ASPA is an international non-governmental organization founded in 1997 in Japan for the joint development of the field of scientific technologies, industry and economy of the Asian region. ASPA unites 519 technoparksfrom 36 countries of the world, including 18 Russian ones. The main event of the association is the annual conference (ASPA Annual Conference), being is a key platform for meetings, communication, and experience exchange of top managers and leaders of Asian science parks.
