The apartment is housed at 16 Nevsky prospect, corner with Bolshaya Morskaya street. The building makes one block with the Arch of General Quarters and the Palace Square and has a long and rich history. In late XVIII c. it used to house a famous hotel "London" and accommodate foreign guests of tsar family due to its closest proximity to the Winter Palace. Later in Pushkin times there was a "Grand English Shop" downstairs where numerous luxury products were sold, from English laces to gold jewelry, wines and food. Nicolas I and the Great Russian poet were frequent customers of that place. Nowadays the ground floor is occupied to the Italian Fashion Shop. The face side of the building has been recently renovated.

Idea of proximity to the Winter Palace makes you feel aristocratic. The suite occupies the front side of the high residential floor and looks Bolshaya Morskaya street, a quiet parking area in front of the Palace square. It features the main entrance from Nevsky prospect with large marbled staircase decorated with stucco moulding. It leads you to the 2nd floor through lower offices on the 1st. First impression is the feeling of much space due to the line of windows and ceiling of 4.20 m.high. The flat consists of a royal size bedroom and a big square shape living room.
