The impressive variety of shops in Yekaterinburg may satisfy practically any taste and need. Every district of the city has its large shopping centres and some stores with the lovely national souvenirs.

Yekaterinburg is located on the boarder of Europe and Asia in the middle of Eurasian continent, and is the most significant industrial and cultural centre of the Ural Federal District. Being the fourth-largest city in Russia with its rich history and cultural heritage, Yekaterinburg appeals to many visitors who come here to admire the unique beauty and local attractions of the city.

The most popular among the residents and the guests of the city are “Greenwich” and “Mega” shopping and recreation centres, attractive both for the adults and children. Lots of the mass-market brands, such as Mango, Zara, H&M, MAC cosmetics, Lush, Bodyshop, etc. are represented here.

Souvenirs

Practically no one can leave Yekaterinburg without buying some of its memorable souvenirs. Every guest of the city will probably find some attractive things for the nearest and dearest  in the area close to Geologicheskaya metro station. Enjoy strolling through the public garden, and you’ll see a small market, where the best-loved souvenirs are offered. Yekaterinburg is famous for its malachite and serpentine, and the Ural masters succeed to produce impressive earrings, necklaces, bracelets, key rings and jewelry boxes made of these stones.
