The Gutseriev family of Russian businessmen - Mikhail, his brothers Sait-Salam and Khamzat, his nephew Mikhail Shishkhanov – has won the first place in the ranking of the richest clans, according to Forbes. This was reported on the website of the business edition.
The cumulated wealth of the Gutseriev family who own the BIN financial group is estimated at 3.85 billion dollars, which is one billion dollars less than in last year.
In 2014 the richest businessmen recognized by the magazine were the Rotenberg family with three of them included in the list of Forbes: Arkady Rotenberg, his son Igor and his brother Boris. Rotenbergs who fell under sanctions, according to the magazine’s estimates, have lost $ 2.6 billion: their wealth is estimated at 2.95 billion dollars against 5.55 billion a year earlier. Rotenberg brothers are co-owners of SMP Bank.
The USA imposed economic sanctions against the brothers last year, Arkady was included in the sanctions list of the European Union. After this the brothers began to transfer their assets to sons: Igor Rotenberg received the shares of “Mostotrest”, “Gazprom Drilling” and “TPS Real Estate” from his father and purchased the shares of “RT-Invest Transport Systems” (serving the system for collection of payments from trucks), and the eldest son of Boris Rotenberg has gained control in the Finnish Arena Events (owning 49 percent of the “Jokerit” hockey club).
