Moscow Fashion Day

After the series of the world fashion weeks in New York, London, Milan, and Paris two Russian fashion weeks, Mercedes-Benz FW and Volvo FW, were held in Moscow a month ago. This proves that Moscow has become one of the fashion capitals. The current fashion season will be closed on the 30th of November by a unique social event, Moscow Fashion Day in Metropol, Moscow, where the most famous designers, various world brands representatives, and fashion celebrities are invited.

On the 30th of November, 2012 “Metropol Club” hall in the “Metropol” hotel will become a real epicentre of the world fashion, style and beauty, as an International Fashion day will be held in Moscow – “Moscow fashion day”. During one day the most famous Russian and foreign designers will demonstrate their collections. Many world brands representatives, buyers, fashion models, and glossy magazines editors will come from Italy, France, America and other countries to establish new contacts during the business program and enjoy the atmosphere of the catwalks shows. 

 The first part of the event is dedicated to the business program. Fashion weeks’ and fashion exhibitions’ managers, brands’ development experts, producers and other business people will discuss the issue of “Fashion Industry Prospects in Russia”. This discussion will enable the existing business partners and potential participants to find out more about their opportunities in the fashion industry and the current changes happening in the world of fashion. Organizers of the Moscow Fashion Day will share their experience in making successful projects.

 The fashion shows will start after the business program. The brand new collections will be presented by Maria Daranova of Slava Zaitsev‘s Fashion Laboratory, Natalia Polishkarova, Lyubov Gundorova, Marina Samodulova, Nadejda Artyukhova, who got the support from the Association of Fashion and Design. Then, Pret-a-porter collections by various Russian designers and participants of Mercedes-Benz FW and Volvo FW, such as Mari Axel, Marina De Golle, Ester Abner, Nikolay Krasnikov, Alexandra Vanyushina, Maria Fomina, Angelina Gruzdeva, Natalia Protskaya, and Masha Korovkina will be shown. And finally, the world brands from America, Italy and France will present their latest collections. Among them are ASTOR&BLACK, VEREZO, POIS, Think Chic, Fontanelli, Umberto Vallati, Giab's, and LAGERFELD by MUSCHEL, the official representative of the brand in Russia. To maintain the high level of the fashion shows the best models from Spain, the Dominican Republic, Bulgaria, Finland, who have presented Dolce&Gabbana, Calvin Klein and many other world brands, are invited. 

Moscow Fashion Day will be closed by a fashion after party with the participation of the Russian celebrities.
