Eco Fashion Week

Eco Fashion week took place in Moscow from the 17-th till the 22-nd of May, 2013. Models of Russian and European designers were presented within the frameworks of Eco Fashion Week.

Besides, master-classes of eco-topic, eco-goods fair, an ecological exhibition were organized during the event.

Directions of Eco Fashion Week are:

Ecological Direction (certified fabrics),
Ethic direction (a refuse from leather and fur),
Ethnic direction (an ethnic design),
Health-improving direction (sports cloth).

“Manezh” turned into a fantastic city of the future for a time of Eco Fashion Week. There appeared eco-houses, eco-offices, eco-shops, eco-service stations, eco-roads with eco-traffic lights and eco-cars on the roads, eco-bicycle parks, eco-children playgrounds and even eco-boulevard with art objects on the area of 5 thousand square meters. Of course, the guests were offered only eco-products; all people were dressed in eco-clothes and had different entertainments in eco-lifestyle format. The aims of the project include the creation of a place in Russia, where Russian designers will be able to form the terms of “eco-cloth” and “eco-fashion”, promotion of new ecologically oriented cloth labels, and development of eco-designers society.
