For a few days the whole capital will turn into one large designers platform, from museums to show rooms, from galleries to factories.

Moscow Design Week will be held for the first time this year. Design Week is organized by Art Trading Group holding. Exhibitions, performances, panel discussions, festivals and competitions dedicated to design will take place in the galleries and special venues. Besides, sculptures and installations will be presented in several streets of the capital - Ostozhenka, Prechistenka, Frunzenskaya Embankment and Komsomolsky Avenue.

Fifty cinemas, cafes and restaurants will give away a map and guide to Moscow Design Week. Organizers plan to make it an annual Moscow event.

Maarten Baas, Luigi Colani, Jaime Hayon, Ora-Ito, Fabio November are invited to Moscow by organizing Committee of Moscow Design Week. The curator of the Design Superheroes is Fabio Novembre - flamboyant designer, architect and poet. To realize his project maestro selected designers with their incomparable working style that has made it possible to associate each of them with one of the superheroes. The essence of the project lies in the fact that all the designers inspired by their images select the most unexpected, trendy and interesting parts of the city to present their works to public.
