 First day of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia introduced industrial collections with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. Especially for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russian designers have created their capsule collections in collaboration with enterprises of textile industry. Women's, men's and home textiles collections were presented. At the same time Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia started selling clothes online straight from the catwalk via the platform of the international auction Already now one can buy items from the collections by Slava Zaitsev, Mari Axel, Natalia Slavina and Lena Karnauhova.

 Business schedule of the first day of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia started with lectures and seminars by WGSN Group. Online portal group is an authoritative source of fashion analysis and forecasts for major representatives of the world of fashion and beauty. In their portfolio of successful projects are L`Oreal, adidas, Uniliver and other large companies.

 Sue Evans, fashion-analyst, opened the business program, speaking about the key fashion trends for spring-summer 2014 and their extensions in the near future. The presentation of this analytical data was introduced two days before in London, and Russian buyers and creative directors of fashion brands were the second who had a chance to study it. Sue Evans believes that a key trend in the world podiums is the extinction of attention from silhouette to the materials: textures and prints. The main stylistic point: total color look, including accessories and shoes.

Lorna Hall, expert at WGSN Group Retail, shared her view on the key processes in the contemporary fashion business with the Russian colleagues. She pointed to the impact of digital technologies, consumer behavior and the need to consider them. It was about the online sales, the need to communicate with the buyers in social networks and thereby get a real idea about the tastes and demands, as well as the influence of the "Millennium Generation" on fashion. This is the generation born at the turn of the century, they like to buy and sell, share their ideas and ask questions, they enjoy being involved in the process of creating a new fashion and specific collections.

Another day of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia started with a collective presentation of graduates of British Higher School of Design and expressive gothic show project by CONTRFASHION that really impressed the viewers. The show was continued by apologists of pure silhouettes and functional fashion - Oleg Biryukov and Svetlana Tegin. Julia Dalakian and Elena Suprun pleased their celebrity fans with new dresses, and the first ever show of Israeli designers conquered the audience with their unusual trends rendition of the upcoming season.

The surprise of the day was a visit of the Hollywood actor and director Steven Seagul. Accompanied by the president of the Fashion Week Alexander Shumsky the guest from Hollywood attended the show of Tel Aviv Fashion Week Collections.

Fifth day of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia was opened with a collective show of Belarusian designers - residents of Belarus Fashion Week. Later, the visitors enjoyed new collections by Julia Kupinsky, Laroom brand, Maroussia Zaitseva, Dasha Gauser, Natalia Goncharova, The Muscovites by Masha Kravtsova and ROB-ART by Katya Rozhdestvenskaya.

The sixth day of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Moscow Manege was marked by two unusual collective shows: firstly, by the winners of a new project of young designers called ARTKVADRAT, and secondly, men's fashion show organized by Tokyo Fashion Week. It was the first time when Japanese designers exhibited their creations at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia. During the whole day Russian designers - Atelier Galetskiy, PIROSMANI BY JENYA MALYGINA, Maria Golubeva, Alena Akhmadullina, RUBAN and BEssARION made bright shows presenting their Spring-Summer 2014 collections.
