Moscow Fashion Week Opening - Romantic Rock 'n' roll
March 30, 2014 16:58

The 20th anniversary Fashion Week started in Moscow on March 29 in Gostiny Dvor.
The Russian capital was looking forward to this event as this year it marks the Moscow Fashion Week anniversary - 20 years of success in the fashion market. Because of this the Fashion Week in Moscow will be special: there will be not only presentations of trendy collections of famous fashion designers and creative rising stars, but  comprehensive business program with the participation of key players of the fashion business, leading journalists and popular bloggers as well.
Traditionally, the main event of the first day of the Moscow Fashion Week was the show by Valentin Yudashkin presenting his new fall-winter 2014-1015 collection. The main motive behind the new images of the fashion designer is a "romantic rock 'n' roll," underlined as the key theme of the future fall and winter fashion season.

Velvet, chiffon and lace added a little romance to classic autumn knitwear, stretch and leather, and  used as decoration geometric ornaments, zippers and embroidery have made additional emphasis. New Collection by Russian fashion maestro will appeal to those who enjoy experimenting with style, and creating a unique image. Removable buffets of  jackets and blazers, demontable basques of dresses and skirts with voluminous fabrics make it easy to transform the basic model and create your personal look. After the show Valentin Yudashkin was literally "attacked" by journalists and guests of the event.

The Moscow Fashion Week guests had a chance to see a real racing car, provided by the organizers of  FORMULA 1 – 2014, Grand Prix of Russia. The fashion world and the world of big motorsport got together on March 29 in Gostiny Dvor under the dome of the Moscow Fashion Week. Russia's first stage in the history of FORMULA 1 will be held in the Olympic capital of Russia – Sochi, from October 10 to 12, 2014 in the arena of modern racing complex Sochi Speedway (Avtodrom).
Gostiny Dvor was decorated with exotic flowers from Venezuela, provided by official partner of Fashion Week in Moscow. Visitors of the event were invited to taste the Venezuelan drinks in the exotic bar. Special guest of the event Venezuelan Ambassador Juan Vicente Paredes Torrealba congratulated Valentin Yudashkin presenting maestro with a gentle bunch of orchids.

The first day of Moscow Fashion Week was full of presentations. Official Makeup Artist of the Fashion Week, Oriflame, showed its new makeup brand - The One. During the presentation, a meeting with the official Oriflame makeup artist Jonas Vramelem was held. Jonas has been working in the beauty industry for 12 years, creating images for actresses, pop stars, and the world's top models. Inspired by a new brand of The ONE, Jonas happy is happy to work at Fashion Week in Moscow together with Oriflame. A rich palette of The One brand reflects the latest podium trends, meets the highest standards and is designed specifically for those who want to be in fashion. All week, a team of professional makeup artists, led by Jonas Vramelem will create unique fashionable images specifically for each fashion show using The ONE products.
