From 22 to 26 October Moscow is hosting Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia. The program includes 90 names that will be participating in the individual and collective shows and presentations. For the first time in the international practice the top-ranked fashion-illustrators from the USA, Korea and Russia will be covering the events of the Fashion Week.

At the end of the XIX century, almost 200 years after the world saw the first fashion prints in France, Paul Poiret threw his first sensational show that was the forerunner of contemporary fashion shows. It was also the time of the ealy fashion-illustrations that were originally created by the artists to show readers of women's magazines the details of the bright show. In the new 29th season Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia refers to the history of the fashion industry. Well-known fashion-illustrators from various corners of the world will spend 5 days at the site of MBFW Russia, in Central Exhibition Hall Manezh to illustrate the most remarkable moments of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia.

One of the invited illustrators is Meagan Morrison who works with the most renowned fashion editions and popular fashion brands like Missoni, Urban Outfitters and other.

One more illustrator at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia is Yelena Bryksenkova – illustrator with Russian background. Yelena was born in St Petersburg, grew up in America and acquired arts education in Prague. Currently among her clients are New-York Times, Real Simple Magazine, Bust Magazine and many other editions.

The third invited illustrator is the Korean Jae Suk Kim. Once his works for the private brand SUSU attracted attention of Bloomingdale's department store, which turned into the start of his career and collaboration with Korea, Vogue Korea, Vogue Girl Korea, Allure and GQ.

Illustrators will be sketching images of the brightest shows, first-row guests and backstage.  Part of the illustrations will be available right on the day of the show, part will be posted later. Works of the illustrators will become a part of the international information campaign of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia in the 29th season.
