The first day of the 30th anniversary season of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia has started today.

27 March witnessed the opening of the 30th Anniversary Season of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia. It was the maestro of the Russian fashion, Vyacheslav Zaitsev, who traditionally was the first to present his new Fall-Winter collection 2015-2016 Nocturne.

The first block of the show featured female demi season coats that became the signature garments of the Fashion House. Principal core of the collection made the formal suits, slim fit jackets and straight dresses accomplished with massive accessories. There were silk wine-coloured skirts with mixed textures, combination of graphic and floral prints on the evening gowns, plenty of adornment - which still left the collection in harmony with the calm and compete colour palette and the choice of silhouettes. Little black dress with the asymmetric collar and bright insets performed in stained-glass technique was according to designer the major highlight of the collection. As for the male line - classic coats, straight-cut suits and shirts with prints made personally by hand of Vyacheslav Zaitsev took the catwalk.

The first day of the 30th Season of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia saw the shows of such brands as Luda Nikishina, LIZA ODINOKIKH MASTERPEACE by Evgenia Linovich.

The brand Luda Nikishina was founded in 2009 by the designer Ludmila Nikishina and focuses mainly on practical and functional coats which were presented in the corner of the brand. Unique moulds and unexpected elements of the classic models combined with interesting fabrics and textures, all encourage the beauty of female body and give the coat from Luda Nikishina contemporary authentic look.

LIZA ODINOKIKH is the young brand of female clothes founded in 2012. The presentation included garments from various collections of the designers, such as fur coats in military colours and dresses embroidered with flowers from the Spring-Summer collection.

MASTERPEACE by Evgenia Linovich is the jewellery brand traditionally demonstrating its new collections at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia. Line Jardin was inspired by Asia. Other than traditional golden sewing and beadwork which, Rostov enamel and wood carving which traditionally feature the techniques of the brand, the presentation also included clutch-boxes with cranes performed in the technique of miniature lacquer-painting.

Other floors of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia saw the presentations and press-days of such brands as J.Kim, Cap America Studio Tigran Avetisyan. For the designer of the brand J Kim, Evgenia Kim, the culture of Asia, and mainly of Korea where her family was born in, is the main source of inspiration. Application of forgotten crafts, transformation of national Asian costumes into contemporary cut and close attention to details are the principal approaches that designer
used when creating her collections.

Tigran Avetisyan presented the collection of male clothing that included baggy bombers and cropped pants adorned with designer's original prints, which was actually no surprise because one of signature features of the brand is including extremely baggy pieces of wardrobe in every collection.

Cap America Studio – is the brand of designer Olga Shurygina who became one of the most acknowledged designers during the previous Season of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia, this time showed another excellent collection.
