Portnoy Beso Evening Gowns By Beso Turazashvili
March 10, 2016 09:59

Portnoy Beso, the Russian brand of evening gowns haute couture, combines aristocratic themes from Russia and Georgia with the charming elements of Middle East art.

Founder of the Fashion House and its Creative Director Beso Turazashvili brought his own vision of fashion to the Russian market from Dubai and New York where his career started. Designer grasps inspiration from the memories about his mother and her magnificent outfits which she wore for family receptions.

Principal element of the philosophy of the Fashion House is individuality - each dress is tailored once and only once. Clients of Portnoy Beso find their genuine outfit reassured they will never see it anywhere except their own wardrobes; they know what it feels like to work with the personal tailor who takes into consideration any detail, fantasy or desire.

Theme of the new collection Fall-Winter 2016-2017, Forêt Noire, that makes the début of the brand at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia, is the magnificent black forest. Black forest is the mix of white fog, black tress, fire-like autumn leaves, soft green shoots, bright colours and emerald moss. This unusual concept was born out of irrational child's nightmares where the back forest represents mysterious creatures that live there. The forest changes desperately within the day: it is magnificent and soft in the morning, dynamic and aggressive during the day, mysterious and unpredictable in the night. Concept of the collection is built around this power of quick transformation.

Fashion show from Portnoy Beso will commence at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia on 14 March at 6 pm.
