July 2, 2016 00:07

Russian designers Katya and Vera Viper showcased lookbook of the new Fall/Winter collection Poison featured at the 32nd Season of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia.

Light white dresses of chiffon and taffeta, skirts with  flared bottom, gauze coats with decorative zippers; young brand VIPERS chose the asymmetric principle and the texture of overflowing fluorescent fluid as the basis of the collection. Inspired by the Japanese theatre Noh and tattoo sketches, sisters Katya and Vera Vaiper featured absolutely unique vision of work with distinctive print, finishing and embroidery. Designers found the smart approach to the hems complementing them with wide flounces, while sleeves of the coats were decorated by the stripes of coloured fur.

Brand Vipers was founded by sisters Katya and Vera Viper in July 2012. Vera is responsible for design in the company while Katya works with accessories line, clothes decor and PR part. In addition to basic education, sisters were on internship in MAMK Savonlinnaa and Istituto Marangoni. In 2012-13 Vipers won some local design competitions. In April 2013 sisters had a presentation at Aurora Fashion Week Russia. In July 2104 Vipers became finalists at Hand&Lock Embroidery Prize London. The main concept of brand is work with colour, original prints and embroideries. Designers like to work with different styles, shapes, cut and fabrics. Currently Vipers have two lines, kids and male capsule collections and accessories line.
